Fire Cracker Factory Blast In Harda, Madhya Pradesh: 11 Dead, Several Injured

A massive fire broke out in a firecracker factory located on Magarda Road in Bairagadh Rehta, Harda district of Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday morning. The fire was followed by a series of powerful explosions that shook the nearby buildings. The intensity of the blasts was so strong that the surrounding buildings trembled. The flames engulfed the nearby houses, causing widespread destruction. At least 11 people have lost their lives, as confirmed by the Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO). The death toll is expected to rise further.Over 90 people sustained severe injuries in the incident. 17 critically injured individuals have been transferred to hospitals in Indore, Bhopal, and Narmadapuram for treatment.

Concerned about the situation, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav called for an emergency meeting and instructed senior officials, including Minister Uday Pratap Singh, to visit Harda. He announced a financial assistance of four lakhs to the families of the deceased and assured that the government would take responsibility for the education of their children. Additionally, fire brigades and ambulances from seven neighboring districts have reached Harda to provide assistance. Officials from Bhopal have also taken charge of the situation. In light of the Harda tragedy, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has canceled his scheduled trip to Chhindwara.
