A House Of Dynamite Movie Trailer

VENICE, Italy — The first trailer for ‘A House of Dynamite,’ an ensemble thriller, was unveiled on September 25, 2025. This film marks the return of Oscar winner Kathryn Bigelow to feature filmmaking since her 2017 movie, ‘Detroit.’

Written by Noah Oppenheim, ‘A House of Dynamite’ focuses on a sudden, unattributed nuclear missile launch against the United States. The story chronicles the urgent scramble among high-ranking civilian and military officials to determine responsibility and decide on the appropriate response.

The film features an impressive cast, with plays the U.S. President facing the nuclear threat. The ensemble includes performers such as Rebecca Ferguson, Gabriel Basso, Jared Harris, Tracy Letts, and Anthony Ramos, among others.

‘A House of Dynamite’ will premiere at this year’s Venice Film Festival before its theatrical release. The film hits select theaters in the UK on October 3, opens in select theaters worldwide on October 10, and will be available on Netflix starting October 24.

Given its compelling narrative, ‘A House of Dynamite’ is being viewed as one of the significant contenders for narrative feature awards this season. It joins other notable films such as Edward Berger’s ‘Ballad of a Small Player’ and Rian Johnson’s ‘Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery.’

The trailer is available to watch online, providing a first glimpse into the high-stakes drama of Bigelow’s latest project.
