Former Inmate Completes Life Skills Program In Dekalb County Jail

Andrew Endsley-Bussing has successfully completed the Quality 360 program at the DeKalb County Jail, preparing for life after incarceration.

The Quality 360 program, in collaboration with medical provider Quality Correctional Care and the Indiana Sheriff’s Association, offers comprehensive mental health and substance use assessments, counseling, life skills training, case management, and peer support services in a correctional setting.

Endsley-Bussing, who had faced criminal recklessness charges, is set to be released from the DeKalb County Jail soon and will continue his sentence at the Noble County Jail for further incarceration.

Quality 360 incorporates Moral Reconation Therapy, aiming to change inmates’ mindsets and behaviors for a positive post-release trajectory.

Endsley-Bussing reflected on his experience in the program, expressing a mix of disappointment and excitement, and acknowledging the need to prioritize family, friends, and self-care for his future endeavors.

Upon his release, Endsley-Bussing plans to lead a stable and productive life, focused on personal growth and avoiding recidivism.
