Former Miss India Finalist Rinky Chakma Loses Battle With Cancer At 29

Rinky Chakma, a former Miss India finalist, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 29 in Delhi. She had been struggling with the illness for the past two years and unfortunately lost the fight recently. Rinky, originally from Tripura, had participated in the Miss India pageant in 2017 and made it to the finals.

In 2022, after being diagnosed with breast cancer, she underwent treatment, but the disease spread and caused complications. Despite the medical interventions, the treatment didn’t yield the desired results. On February 22, she was admitted to the hospital as her health deteriorated, surrounded by family and friends who gathered by her side.

Rinky’s close acquaintances, Miss India pageant colleagues, and well-wishers rallied to support her during her illness. She had been vocal about her health struggles on social media, seeking financial assistance. Unfortunately, she succumbed to the disease after a brief hospitalization.

Known for her beauty and grace, Rinky Chakma shone during the Miss India beauty pageant in 2017. Her tenure in Haryana brought her accolades, and her achievements were widely recognized.
