Creel made his Broadway debut in 2002 with the leading role of Jimmy in *Thoroughly Modern Millie*, a performance that earned him his first Tony Award nomination. He continued to impress audiences with his roles in *Hair* (2009), for which he received his second Tony Award nomination, and *The Book of Mormon* (2012-2015), where he played Elder Price and won a Laurence Olivier Award for the West End production. His performance as Cornelius Hackl in *Hello, Dolly!* on Broadway in 2017 garnered him a Tony Award.

Other notable stage credits include *La Cage aux Folles* (2004), *She Loves Me* (2016), *Waitress* (2019), and *Into the Woods* (2022) on Broadway, as well as *Mary Poppins* (2006) and *Waitress* (2020) in the West End. Creel also released his debut studio album, *Goodtimenation*, in 2006.

Born on April 18, 1976, in Findlay, Ohio, Creel was raised in a devoutly religious environment and found solace in theater. He graduated from the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre & Dance in 1998. His contributions to the world of musical theater have been celebrated, and his legacy continues to inspire aspiring performers.
