German Embassy Official Visits Jamaat’s Centre in Kosovo, Commends Humanitarian Efforts

On December 21, 2023, the Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya Kosovo welcomed Mr. Christian Böttcher, the First Secretary of the German Embassy in Kosovo, to their centre in Prishtina. The meeting was a platform for an informative exchange of ideas.

Mr. Böttcher shared insights into his activities in Kosovo, leading to a discussion on the religious and cultural initiatives of the Jamaat in Kosovo, spanning branches in Prishtina, Peja, and Mitrovica. A key moment was the screening of a report on the Jalsa Salana Germany 2023, catching Mr. Böttcher’s interest in attending the Jalsa Salana Kosovo in the future.

Under the motto “Love for All, Hatred for None,” Mr. Böttcher praised the Jamaat’s global efforts towards peace, brotherhood, interfaith dialogue, and harmony. The meeting highlighted the humanitarian projects of Humanity First in Kosovo, showcasing around 80 successful ventures since 2018 across health, education, and social welfare sectors.

As the discussion wrapped up, both sides expressed a mutual interest in future collaborations in cultural, humanitarian, and interreligious dialogue spheres. In appreciation, Mr. Christian Böttcher received a copy of the Holy Quran with German translation and a book by the Promised Messiah, titled ‘The Philosophy of the Teachings of Islam’.
