Global Outreach and Multiplication: Pastor Adeboye Calls for Unceasing Expansion of Impact
Pastor Enoch Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) recently emphasized the need for unceasing expansion of impact during a religious sermon. Quoting from the book of Philippians, Adeboye urged his congregation to follow the example of Apostle Paul in continually pressing forward towards a higher calling. He encouraged believers not to settle for current achievements but to strive to win the whole world for Christ.
Adeboye likened spiritual growth to the story of Isaac in the Bible, highlighting the importance of not just growth but consistent movement forward. Drawing from the biblical mandate to take the gospel from Jerusalem to Judea, Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the world, he stressed the global mission of spreading Christianity.
Reflecting on his own journey, Adeboye recalled a moment of fasting and prayer over three decades ago, where he received discouraging remarks about reaching the peak of his mission. He shared how he remained determined to keep pressing on, stating firmly that he hadn’t even scratched the surface of what God had in store.
During the sermon, Adeboye reiterated the invitation of Jesus Christ for believers to come and drink from Him, emphasizing the need for a continuous flow of spiritual nourishment. He urged his followers to deepen their relationship with God to unlock the full potential of multiplication in their impact.
The RCCG leader also called for prayers for global peace and the upliftment of nations, highlighting the importance of sharing edifying messages and standing for faith in a troubled world. The congregation was encouraged to maintain a spirit of constant growth and relevance in fulfilling their divine calling.
