Gunfire Erupts At Kansas City Super Bowl Victory Parade

Gunfire broke out at the conclusion of the victory parade held in Kansas City to celebrate the ChiefsNFL championship win. Reports indicate that several people were injured, with some in critical condition at present.

The incident occurred near Union Station, with shots fired west of the venue’s garage. The police department’s spokesperson, Captain Jake Becchina, shared that two armed individuals have been apprehended in connection to the shooting.

The parade commenced with the Chiefs players on double-decker buses, waving to the fans as they paraded through the city. Notable players like Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes were spotted aboard the buses during the event.

Today also marks the anniversary of another tragic shooting, the Parkland school shooting in 2018, where 17 lives were lost and many more were injured.
