Gwyneth Paltrow Timothée Chalamet Filming Scene

Renowned actors Gwyneth Paltrow and Timothée Chalamet have been spotted filming an intimate scene for their upcoming film “Marty Supreme” on the streets of New York City. The movie is a sports drama directed by Josh Safdie, known for films like “Uncut Gems” and “Good Time.”

Chalamet, 28, who takes on the title role in the film, was seen wearing a vintage gray suit complete with round glasses and a mustache. Meanwhile, Paltrow, 52, donned an old-fashioned red ball gown and long black opera gloves, her hair elegantly styled in an updo.

The film “Marty Supreme,” produced by A24, is set against the backdrop of the 1950s ping pong culture. Besides Chalamet and Paltrow, the film features an ensemble cast including Tyler, the Creator, Odessa A’zion, magician Penn Jillette, “Shark Tank” star Kevin O’Leary, and filmmaker Abel Ferrara. Fran Drescher is also on board, portraying the mother of Chalamet’s character, as reported earlier this month.

Paltrow’s involvement in “Marty Supreme” marks her return to the big screen since her appearance in “Avengers: Endgame” in 2019. The actress, who also runs the lifestyle brand Goop, expressed her excitement about revisiting acting during a September interview with Harper's Bazaar. “I am excited to kind of get back into it and give it a real try,” she shared, highlighting her renewed interest in acting after a five-year hiatus.

While specific details about Paltrow’s character in the film remain undisclosed, the project represents a new chapter for the actress, whose decision to return was influenced by her family. Her daughter, Apple Martin, encouraged her to seize the opportunity to work with Chalamet, while her brother suggested collaborating with director Safdie.

Adding to her recent endeavors, Paltrow has also completed filming for a comedy titled “Miracle on 74th Street” over the summer. Aside from her film work, she has made appearances on the Netflix series “The Politician” and voiced a character in “American Horror Stories” earlier this year.

The movie “Marty Supreme” has generated considerable anticipation, not only for its star-studded cast but also for marking Safdie’s return to directing after the acclaimed success of his previous work.
