Hilaria Baldwin Reacts to DWTS Elimination With Gratitude and Emotion

Los Angeles, CA — Hilaria Baldwin was eliminated from Dancing With the Stars during Disney Night on October 7. The 41-year-old wellness author expressed a mix of gratitude and sadness after her elimination alongside partner Gleb Savchenko, 42.
In an interview with E! News, Baldwin reflected on the support she received from her family throughout her journey on the show. “We’re okay,” she said, discussing the ups and downs of the competition. “I mean, we’re not great, but we’re okay at the same time. It’s mixed.”
Hilaria, who shares seven children with actor Alec Baldwin, got emotional as she recounted a touching moment with her daughter before the competition began. “I said to my daughter, ‘What happens if I get voted off right away?’” she recalled. Her daughter replied, “Mommy, at least you tried.” Hilaria emphasized the importance of trying in life, saying, “I hope they always know that: At least I tried.”
Savchenko praised Hilaria’s dedication, stating, “You put your heart and soul into dance. I’m so proud of you.” He noted that her passion and effort brought authentic emotion to their performances.
Despite being eliminated, Hilaria expressed pride in her accomplishments on the show. “It’s been a wonderful journey,” she said, adding that she and Gleb planned to support the other contestants by voting for them in the upcoming weeks. “We have 10 votes,” she explained, “we can give one to each one of them, because we love them all equally.”
The couple danced a quickstep to “Cantina Band” from Star Wars: A New Hope, earning a score of 23 out of 30 from the judges. However, they did not receive enough fan support, amidst a record-breaking 40 million votes cast, leading to their elimination.
Looking back on her time on the show, Hilaria expressed gratitude for the experience. “I’m going to be rooting for them,” she said of her fellow contestants. “This has only been a wonderful experience.” Hilaria Baldwin’s journey on Dancing With the Stars has come to an end, but her memories will last.
