Jason And Kylie Kelce Family Dog Baloo Tribute

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Jason Kelce and his wife, Kylie, are grieving the loss of their family dog, Baloo, who passed away on March 22, just one day before Kylie’s 33rd birthday. The Kelces, known for their strong family bonds, shared the heartbreaking news through an emotional Instagram post featuring touching memories of their Irish Wolfhound.

Kylie, who also hosts the podcast “Not Gonna Lie With Kylie Kelce,” revealed the news to followers, reflecting on the impact of Baloo’s passing on their three daughters: Wyatt, 5, Ellie, 4, and Bennett, 2. “When I told the girls that Baloo was going to leave us, Ellie asked where he was going,” Kylie wrote. “I told her that he was going to heaven and without skipping a beat she replied, ‘Oh! He’ll get to be with Winnie again! They’ll be so happy to see each other!’”

Baloo, who was seven years old at the time of his death, was described by Kylie as the “goofiest, sweetest, most lovable, and tolerant dog,” who had a love for carbs and affection. “The heartbreak is immense,” she said, and added, “But as Ellie so perfectly pointed out, the Winnie-Bubba reunion had to be pure magic. Miss you already, Bubbies.”

The Kelce family faced another loss just over a year ago when their other dog, Winnie, passed away in March 2024. Kylie’s poignant tribute struck a chord with family members, including Jason’s brother, NFL star Travis Kelce, who commented on her post with crying emojis. Their mother, Donna Kelce, expressed her condolences as well, writing, “My heart goes out to you!!!!”

As Kylie mourns the loss, she is also preparing for the arrival of the couple’s fourth child this summer. Despite this challenging time, the Kelces emphasize their commitment to supporting one another as they navigate both grief and anticipation.

Jason, a retired NFL player who spent 13 seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles, continues to embrace family life while Lind with friends and maintaining his bond with Kylie. The family remains close, often sharing moments of joy amidst their challenges.

Jason Kelce, who led the Eagles to a Super Bowl victory before retiring in March 2024, also reflected on the profound connection the family has with their pets. As they prepare for new beginnings, the Kelces’ love continues to thrive, even in the face of loss.
