LOS ANGELES, CA — Musician Jelly Roll recently expressed his thoughts on who he believes should be John Cena‘s final opponent in the wrestling ring. Jelly Roll, an avid pro wrestling fan, has become actively involved in WWE over the past year and even participated in a match at SummerSlam earlier this year.
On a recent episode of a wrestling-themed show, Jelly Roll revealed that he thinks Bron Breakker would be a fitting opponent for Cena’s last match. He stated, “I think that he goes out putting Bron over. I think Cena’s going to want to go out on his back. You know what I mean?”
The musician highlighted Cena’s storied career and his commitment to the wrestling business, suggesting that Cena may want to give the younger talent the spotlight as he ends his career. Jelly Roll pondered whether Cena would choose to put over a heel or a young star like Breakker.
Furthermore, Jelly Roll critiqued Cena’s previous heel run, calling it unsuccessful. He expressed a desire to see Cena deliver exciting matches during his retirement tour, stating, “I don’t care if he talks on a microphone again. I don’t want a storyline. Just keep putting him in there with the matches he wants and giving us these kind of bangers.”
Cena has four dates remaining on his retirement tour, with the final match scheduled for December 13 at Saturday Night’s Main Event, held at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.
