John Elway Dupuytren's Contracture Xiaflex Treatment

NFL Hall of Famer John Elway has been in the spotlight recently for more than just his legendary football career. On November 20, 2024, Elway teamed up with Endo to share an update on his journey with Dupuytren’s contracture, a condition that causes the tissue beneath the skin in the palm to thicken and can lead to finger curvature.

Elway has been successfully treated with XIAFLEX (collagenase clostridium histolyticum) for the past five years and is now considering treatment for another finger where he believes the condition is starting to manifest. He expressed his positive experience with the treatment, highlighting its effectiveness in managing the symptoms of Dupuytren’s contracture.

In addition to his health updates, Elway has also been making headlines related to his former team, the Denver Broncos. Despite his involvement with the team, Elway has surprisingly not yet met the new quarterback, Bo Nix. This has raised some curiosity among fans and analysts.

Bo Nix has been making waves in the NFL, having already surpassed some of John Elway’s rookie records. Under the guidance of Coach Sean Payton, Nix led the Denver Broncos to five wins in October, a feat that has garnered significant attention. Coach Payton has even been teasing Elway about Nix breaking his records, adding a light-hearted touch to the situation.
