Kandi Burruss Receives Wifetime Achievement Award at BravoCon 2025
Las Vegas, NV – Kandi Burruss was honored with the Wifetime Achievement Award at The Bravos during BravoCon 2025 on November 14. The former star of The Real Housewives of Atlanta accepted the accolade in front of a lively audience at PH Live Theater.
Former co-star Cynthia Bailey and Burruss’ daughter, Riley, presented the award, marking a significant moment in Burruss’ renowned career. “I did not have the Wifetime Achievement Award on my 2025 Bingo card, but here we are, and I’ll take it,” Burruss said while accepting the honor.
Burruss, a Grammy-winning singer and songwriter, reflected on her journey with RHOA, describing her initial expectations of joining the show. “I thought it would be something cute to do for a little while, and little did I know, Bravo was gonna have me crying, laughing, arguing, singing, and reading checks that I did not expect,” she remarked.
During her speech, she expressed gratitude toward her fans for their ongoing support, stating they have been with her throughout her 14-season run on RHOA. She affectionately referred to her supporters as the “Kandi-coated click.”
Burruss also acknowledged her daughter, saying, “Ya’ll are filming Season 2 of Next Gen NYC, and I am so proud. You took the torch, laid it on fire, and brought that Burruss heat to a whole new franchise.”
Moreover, Kandi thanked her family for their role in her Bravo journey, joking that they provided “Bravo way more drama than they paid for.” She mentioned Andy Cohen, saying, “It means so much that our relationship is bigger than the show. I random text and check in mean a lot to me now more than ever.”
Holding back tears, she reflected on her time filming RHOA. “To every woman I ever filmed RHOA with, I see some of y’all here tonight, the good, the bad, the shade, the laughs, the tears, we made history together,” she concluded. Burruss confirmed she will forever cherish her time as a housewife, stating, “I’m embedded in your motherf***ing brain, bitch.”
BravoCon 2025 continues through November 16, and Burruss is set to return to the stage in the hit musical & Juliet in December, playing Juliet’s nurse.
