SANTA CLARA, California — Kenan Thompson, a Falcons fan and star of “Saturday Night Live,” introduced the upcoming NFL game between the Atlanta Falcons and the San Francisco 49ers during a segment for “Sunday Night Football.” The game is set to kick off at 8:20 p.m. Sunday evening.

In his opening tease, Thompson expressed excitement over the clash of two of football’s greatest running backs, saying, “Oh man, here we go again. How in the name of LaDainian Tomlinson did I wind up with both of these ballers on my fantasy football team?”

As the Falcons head to Levi’s Stadium, they will look to build on their recent success following a dominant 24-14 victory against the Buffalo Bills. In that game, the Falcons showcased a strong defense that effectively contained the Bills’ offense, while rookie running back Bijan Robinson totaled an impressive 238 yards from scrimmage.

The Falcons carry a 3-2 record into the matchup against the 49ers, who boast a 4-2 record. The 49ers are favored by a 2.5-point margin. As both teams prepare, the Falcons face the challenge of maintaining their momentum on the road.

In roster news, the Falcons activated defensive tackle Ta’Quon Graham, who has not played this season due to a calf injury. Cornerback Clark Phillips III was placed on injured reserve due to a triceps injury.
