Kendrick Lamar 2026 Grammy Nominations

LOS ANGELES, CA — The nominees for the 2026 Grammy Awards were announced today, with Kendrick Lamar leading the pack with nine nominations. Lamar’s nods include major categories like Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Song of the Year.

Coming in close behind, Lady Gaga, Bad Bunny, and producer Cirkut received seven nominations each. This year, Bad Bunny made history as the first Spanish-language artist to be nominated in three top categories simultaneously for his song “Debí Tirar Más Fotos.”

Other artists making significant waves include Leon Thomas, who has multiple nominations, and the duo Clipse, who are nominated for their comeback album “Let God Sort Em Out.” The category for Best New Artist features rising stars like Olivia Dean and Katseye, showcasing a diverse range of talent.

Lamar’s nominations stem from his album “GNX,” including the hit single “Luther,” which he shares with SZA. He aims to win Album of the Year for the first time after six previous attempts.

The album also faces tough competition from contenders like “MUTT” by Leon Thomas and “Mayhem” by Lady Gaga. In addition to pop and R&B genres, the nominations reflect a broad spectrum of music styles, featuring artists like Billie Eilish and the K-pop group Rosé and Bruno Mars.

The Grammy Awards ceremony is set to take place on February 1, 2026, at the Crypto.com Arena in downtown Los Angeles, with a live broadcast on CBS.
