Pm Kisan Yojana: Farmers Receive 17th Installment Amidst Pm Modi's Visit To Varanasi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his visit to Varanasi, transferred the 17th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, benefitting over 9.26 crore farmers across India.

The Krishi Sakhi program certified over 30,000 self-help groups during the same event.

The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana aims to provide financial assistance to farmers by providing them with Rs 6,000 per annum in three installments of Rs 2,000 each every four months.

PM Modi, after forming the 3.0 government, decided to release the next installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, following the issuance of the 16th installment on February 28, 2024, from Maharashtra‘s Yavatmal district.

Eligible beneficiaries of the scheme must ensure they have the required documents to avail of the benefits provided.
