The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has officially declared the results for MHT CET 2024, a highly anticipated examination among engineering, pharmacy, and agriculture aspirants in the state. The announcement, initially scheduled for June 19, was advanced to Sunday, with the outcome being disclosed at approximately 6 pm.

Students who appeared for the Physics-Chemistry-Mathematics (PCM) and Physics-Chemistry-Biology (PCB) exams can now download their individual scorecards from the dedicated portal set up by the State Common Entrance Test Cell. This outcome, denoted as marks or percentiles, will play a critical role in the admission process for various undergraduate programs.

This year’s MHT CET exams were conducted in staggered sessions between April 22 and May 17, with the PCB stream taking place from April 22 to April 30 and the PCM segment occurring from May 2 to May 17. The exam received a significant number of objections, reaching a total of 1,425, primarily related to the questions posed during the test. Specifically, out of the 5,100 questions across multiple sessions, objections were raised in 232 queries, with PCM bearing the brunt of 227 contentions.

In response to the raised objections, the State Common Entrance Test Cell meticulously reviewed the queries and made necessary adjustments where deemed appropriate. A total of 54 questions underwent modifications in response to the discrepancies identified during the evaluation process. Additionally, full marks will be awarded for questions where none of the provided choices proved to be correct, ensuring fairness and accuracy in the scoring process for all candidates.

Conclusively, the State Common Entrance Test Cell acknowledged discrepancies in the answer keys for certain questions, rectifying them to ensure transparency and precision in the evaluation process. With the official declaration of the MHT CET 2024 results, students can now move forward towards the crucial next step in their educational journey, guided by their performance in this rigorous examination.
