Laura Loomer Targets New Surgeon General Nominee and Allies

LOS ANGELES, CA — Conservative activist Laura Loomer has launched a fierce attack against Casey Means, President Donald Trump‘s nominee for the position of surgeon general. Loomer has also targeted Jessica Reed Kraus, known for her connection to Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and accused them both of being unqualified for their roles.
Using her active social media platform, Loomer has positioned herself as a self-styled ‘vetter,’ aiming to expose what she claims are the hidden agendas of political figures. She has characterized Means as a Democratic infiltrator intent on undermining Trump’s presidency. Loomer shared a photo of Kraus hugging Michael Cohen, Trump’s former attorney, to further bolster her claims.
“MAHA is literally being taken over by Marxists and Grifters,” Loomer claimed, referring to the “Make America Healthy Again” movement. She accused Means of being part of a movement that is misguiding America’s healthcare system, labeling the current environment as “A TOTAL CRISIS!”
Means, who resigned from her surgical residency in 2018, has transformed her career into that of a vocal critic of traditional healthcare practices. She co-authored a New York Times best-selling book, “Good Energy,” and argues that the healthcare system often prioritizes profit over patient welfare. Loomer dismisses Means’ views, asserting that they illustrate a misleading perspective on U.S. medicine.
In a response to Loomer’s remarks, two former residents of the surgical program where Means trained have questioned the credibility of her claims against the medical establishment. Dr. Paul Flint, the former chairman of the program, stated that Means left due to stress and that her allegations against the system mischaracterize the realities of modern medicine.
“She left because she wasn’t able to continue. You lose some credibility when you just drop out,” Flint said. “The way she has portrayed this as a conspiracy only detracts from the innovations and successes present in the medical field.”
Loomer boasted about her role in identifying political threats while simultaneously expressing disdain for those she considers to be ‘grifters’ within the MAGA movement. She suggested that Means and her connections represent a deeper infiltration into the Trump administration.
Loomer continues to assert that the health of the MAHA movement is compromised, tagging her critics with strong accusations, including being part of a conspiracy against true conservative values. Meanwhile, Casey Means remains focused on her mission to alter the health narrative in the country.
As tensions rise within the conservative circles, Loomer’s continued rhetoric illustrates a growing divide among figures within the Trump-supporting community.
