Lawyers Deny Clash with BJP Spokesperson at Gautam Budh Nagar Court
Gautam Budh Nagar Bar Association refuted claims of a confrontation with BJP national spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia at the district court.
The association dismissed rumors circulating on social media about an alleged altercation and assault involving Bhatia and local lawyers.
Recent media reports suggested a heated exchange occurred when Bhatia arrived at the Greater Noida district court for a case hearing. Bar Association members informed him of a strike, leading to a verbal dispute.
The local Bar Association clarified that no clash took place and condemned the spread of false information aimed at tarnishing Bhatia’s reputation.
According to reports, the strike at the district court was in protest against an FIR filed against a court advocate’s father.
Bhatia’s presence for a case hearing reportedly intensified tensions when lawyers asked him to remove a black armband.
The police intervened to ensure Bhatia’s safety and escorted him away from the situation.
In a separate development, the Uttar Pradesh police arrested two individuals from Haryana in connection with a case related to illegal snake venom smuggling.
The arrested suspects, Ishwar and Vinay, are being investigated for their alleged involvement in the illicit trade.
Noida DCP Sagar Mishra confirmed efforts to scrutinize video evidence and identify additional suspects potentially linked to the illegal activities.
