St. Louis Braces for Winter Weather: Snow and Cooling Temperatures Expected
Residents of St. Louis are preparing for a significant change in weather as winter conditions are set to return to the area. According to the latest forecasts, snow is expected to settle in during the early part of Saturday, prompting a Winter Weather Advisory.
The snowfall is anticipated to impact the region, with light snow expected to start falling in the morning hours. This weather event is part of a broader cooling trend that will see temperatures drop significantly over the weekend and into the next week.
On Saturday, the area can expect partly sunny conditions in the morning, followed by clearing skies, with highs in the upper 80s. However, this warmth will be short-lived as a cold front moves in. By Sunday, temperatures will be much cooler, with highs in the upper 70s and northwest winds of 10 to 15 mph, gusting up to 25 mph.
The cooling trend will continue into the week, with much cooler temperatures expected by Monday. Highs will be in the lower 60s, and lows will drop into the upper 30s. The forecast also indicates areas of frost in the morning by Wednesday, with sunny conditions and highs in the mid 60s.
Residents are advised to prepare for the winter weather by checking road conditions and ensuring they have necessary supplies for the colder temperatures ahead.
