Luke Bryan and Friends Create New Golf Song at Tee

Nashville, Tennessee – Country music stars Luke Bryan, Randy Houser, and Jordan Johnson hit the golf course together and possibly created a new song titled “Head Down” during their outing on June 6, 2025.
The playful moment was captured in a video posted to Bryan’s Instagram. In the clip, Houser interrupts Bryan’s concentration by singing the words “Head down, head down,” to the tune of his own hit song “How Country Feels,” which was released in 2013.
“God, I’m gonna use that forever, Randy,” Bryan responds with a laugh. The video then transitions to Johnson preparing to tee off, as Bryan asks, “Alright Randy, what should he do?”
“Let’s check his stance first. He’s got good posture, I love the shoes,” comments Houser. He then starts singing, “Head down, head down,” causing the trio to burst into laughter.
As the song continues to unfold, Houser can’t contain his laughter when Bryan and Johnson start joining in, leading to a lighthearted moment on the course.
“Head down, head down” offers a humorous spin on a line from Houser’s previously popular song. Fans are left wondering if this fun banter might lead to a new remix of “How Country Feels” complete with fresh lyrics.
Though it was a casual day of golf, it revealed the camaraderie among these country music stars. Luke Bryan has been a staple in country music since arriving in Nashville in 2005, with hits like “All My Friends Say” marking the beginning of his solo career.
The shared laughter and music-making hint at the strong bond these artists share behind the scenes, much to the delight of their fans.
