NEW YORK CITY, N.Y. — The 99th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is gearing up for its grand celebration, with rehearsals taking place in front of the flagship Macy’s store in Manhattan. On Monday, Nov. 24, cast members from Broadway shows such as “Just in Time,” “Ragtime,” and “Buena Vista Social Club” held high-energy run-throughs in preparation for the big day on Nov. 27.
This exclusive rehearsal featured performances by stars including Joshua Henry, Caissie Levy, Brandon Uranowitz, and Sadie Dickerson. The rehearsal showcased choreography and vocal harmonies, with each performer making final adjustments before their live televised performance.
As viewers await Thursday’s show, they can expect a diverse range of performances. “Just in Time” will highlight the life of Bobby Darin, while “Ragtime” brings the emotional depth of early 20th-century America to life. Additionally, audiences can anticipate the vibrant rhythm and salsa moves from the “Buena Vista Social Club” cast.
The parade will be broadcast live on NBC starting at 8:30 a.m. in all time zones and will also stream on Peacock. An encore presentation will air at 2 p.m. ET/PT for those who miss the live event.
