Mad Men Hbo Max 4k Streaming

LOS ANGELES, CA – On December 1, all seven seasons of AMC‘s acclaimed drama “Mad Men” will debut on HBO Max. The series, starring Jon Hamm as Don Draper, is set to be available in 4K for the first time.

Created by Matthew Weiner, “Mad Men” originally ran from 2007 to 2015 on AMC, capturing the complex world of a prestigious New York advertising agency during the 1960s. It garnered a total of 16 Emmy Awards, including four consecutive wins for Outstanding Drama Series.

Weiner wrote the pilot while he was working on the sitcom “Becker.” The pilot caught the attention of David Chase, the creator of HBO’s “The Sopranos,” who subsequently hired Weiner as a writer-producer. However, HBO decided not to proceed with “Mad Men” amid a leadership change, a rejection Weiner later called disappointing.

The show found a home on AMC, where it became a signature series that transformed the cable network into a contender in original programming. It is praised for its exploration of the changing social landscape of America during the 1960s.

“Mad Men” features a talented cast that includes Vincent Kartheiser, Elisabeth Moss, January Jones, Christina Hendricks, Rich Sommer, Aaron Staton, Kiernan Shipka, Jessica Pare, and John Slattery. In a statement, Royce Battleman of Warner Bros. Discovery expressed excitement for the series’ addition to HBO Max, stating, “With an enhanced 4K viewing experience, fans will enjoy the series in a fresh way.”

Jim Packer from Lionsgate highlighted the series’ enduring appeal over ten years after concluding its original run. He stated, “HBO sets the bar for premium entertainment, making it the perfect place to celebrate one of television’s defining series.”

As “Mad Men” transitions to HBO Max, it promises to introduce new viewers to its rich narrative while rekindling nostalgia for longtime fans.
