Maharashtra MLC Election Results: Mahayuti Sweeps All 11 Seats, Uddhav Thackeray Wins Big

In the recent Maharashtra Legislative Council (MLC) elections, the Mahayuti alliance has emerged victorious, securing all 11 seats in the polls. This victory has strengthened the position of Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and his Shiv Sena party.

The election saw a strategic battle between different political parties in Maharashtra. The Mahayuti alliance, consisting of the Shiv Sena, BJP, and other parties, put up a strong front, ensuring victories on all 11 seats up for grabs.

Key figures like former Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Pankaja Munde marked their return to the legislative council through this electoral success.

Reflecting on their win, Uddhav Thackeray stated, ‘The sweep of 9 out of 11 seats in the Maharashtra Legislative Council by the Mahayuti alliance underscores our governance and developmental capabilities. Our opposition’s claims were countered effectively as even some members of other parties voted for our candidates.’
