Eric Adams Sneako Livestream Controversy

NEW YORK, NY – Mayor Eric Adams co-hosted a late-night livestream from Gracie Mansion on Saturday alongside controversial right-wing personality Sneako, also known as Nico Kenn De Balinthazy. The event, featuring cigars and discussions about various topics, has drawn significant criticism from political observers.

Adams, who was joined by his son Jordan Coleman, TV personality Amber Rose, and businessman Sean Sudarshan Rajan, promoted Kash Patel‘s book, which discusses a supposed “deep state” effort against former President Donald Trump. The livestream began just before 10:30 p.m. and lasted until shortly before midnight.

Critics quickly voiced their disapproval. Congressman Ritchie Torres took to social media, questioning Adams’ choices, tweeting, “Who’s next on the guest list—David Duke?” This reaction highlights the concern over Adams’ interactions with figures known for inflammatory rhetoric.

Sneako, who has been banned from major platforms like YouTube due to violations of terms of service, has faced backlash for previously making antisemitic remarks. He is also known for associations with other controversial figures, including a recent collaboration with Ye, the rapper formerly known as Kanye West.

Adams’ appearance with Sneako continues to raise eyebrows as he navigates his re-election campaign. Although he is not participating in the upcoming Democratic primary, he intends to run on a separate ballot line in the November general elections, potentially titled “EndAntiSemitism” or “Safe&Affordable.”

During the stream, Adams criticized the Southern District of New York, the office involved in a corruption case against him, and discussed the importance of using cryptocurrency to facilitate sending money abroad. He mentioned how this could provide a cost-effective solution for families with loved ones overseas.

Adams remarked on the media’s handling of President Joe Biden’s health, suggesting a cover-up regarding the president’s cognitive issues. “It’s clear now that [Democrats] knew that he was dealing with cognitive issues and the institution covered it up,” the mayor said during the discussion.

As the livestream concluded, Balinthazy shared his motivations for creating content, stating, “I’ve always wanted to speak up and have my voice heard.” Adams responded positively, indicating support for Balinthazy’s ambitions. The event has sparked further dialogue on the implications of political leaders associating with controversial figures.
