Metallica M72 World Tour 2025

Metallica has announced the extension of its highly successful M72 World Tour into a third year, adding 21 shows across North America in the spring of 2025. These performances will span April, May, and June, with tickets going on sale on September 27 at 10 a.m. local time. Fan club members will have the opportunity to purchase tickets earlier during a pre-sale starting on September 23.

The tour initially commenced in April 2023 in Amsterdam and has since been witnessed by approximately three million fans. It has received numerous accolades for its outstanding performances, including high praise from several major publications. The 2025 tour continues the tradition of “No Repeat Weekends,” where each night features a unique setlist and different supporting acts.

Notable upcoming stops include Metallica’s first Nashville shows in five years and a long-awaited return to Tampa after 15 years. Additionally, the tour will mark the band’s debut performances at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California. The 2025 itinerary also introduces single-show events in various cities, bringing Metallica’s full production set-up to venues like the JMA Wireless Dome in Syracuse, New York, and Lane Stadium in Blacksburg, Virginia.

The tour is set to feature supporting acts such as Pantera, Limp Bizkit, Suicidal Tendencies, and Ice Nine Kills. Metallica will also headline festivals during the tour, including opening night at Sick New World in Las Vegas and two performances at the Sonic Temple Festival in Columbus, Ohio.

In addition to the North American dates, the band will also tour Australia and New Zealand during this leg. The tour is produced by Live Nation and sponsored by inKind, and Citi cardholders, as well as Verizon customers, will have access to special pre-sale opportunities. A portion of the ticket proceeds will benefit local charities through Metallica’s All Within My Hands foundation, which supports various community initiatives.
