LOS ANGELES, CA — Miley Cyrus is set to release a new original song titled “Dream as One” for the upcoming film, Avatar: Fire and Ash. The track will debut on November 14, a month before the film’s theatrical release on December 19.

Cyrus collaborated with Mark Ronson, Andrew Wyatt, and Simon Franglen to create the song. Franglen also composed the score for the film. The song will play during the movie’s end credits and is part of the official soundtrack, which will be available on December 12.

In a statement on social media, Cyrus expressed her excitement about the project. She wrote, “Having been personally affected by fire and being rebuilt from the ashes, this project holds profound meaning for me. The film’s themes of unity, healing, and love resonate deeply within my soul.” She added thanks to director James Cameron for the opportunity.

Avatar: Fire and Ash is the third installment in Cameron’s Avatar series, following 2022’s Avatar: The Way of Water. The film stars Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldaña, alongside Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Oona Chaplin, Cliff Curtis, and many others.

Cyrus is no stranger to contributing to soundtracks, having released the song “Beautiful That Way” for The Last Showgirl soundtrack in December 2024. Her latest album, Something Beautiful, was released earlier this year.

Avatar: Fire and Ash promises to continue the visually stunning storytelling that the franchise is known for, with a focus on new adventures in Pandora and the Sully family’s journey.
