PM Modi Hosts Inaugural National Creators Award 2024 Ceremony in New Delhi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi presided over the first-ever National Creators Award ceremony at the esteemed Bharat Mandapam convention center in New Delhi. The prestigious awards were established to honor and uplift the digital creators making a positive impact in India.
The National Creators Award 2024 attracted an impressive 1.5 lakh nominations across a spectrum of 20 diversified categories, with a remarkable 10 lakh votes cast during the competitive selection process. The winners were selected based on the number of votes each creator received, showcasing the significant influence of digital creators in today’s society.
The ceremony celebrated 23 deserving winners, including three international creators, in categories such as Best Storyteller, Disruptor of the Year, Celebrity Creator, Green Champion, Social Change Advocate, Agri Creator, Cultural Ambassador, and the coveted International Creator Award. This wide array of categories reflects the versatile impact digital creators have on various aspects of Indian life.
The Centre opened the nomination window on its Innovate India website, providing a platform for millions of creators on social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and X. Through these awards, Prime Minister Modi aims to recognize and empower the creative minds ushering in positive change in the country.
