Mumford & Sons Dazzle Nashville with Surprise Guests at Bridgestone Arena
Nashville, TN — Mumford & Sons delivered an unforgettable performance at the Bridgestone Arena on October 22, 2025. The English folk band surprised fans by inviting Lainey Wilson and Sierra Ferrell on stage during their headlining show, adding excitement to the night.
Midway through the concert, Sierra Ferrell joined Mumford & Sons to perform Townes Van Zandt‘s heartfelt classic, “If I Needed You.” This collaboration enriched the already vibrant atmosphere. Later, just before the encore, Lainey Wilson took the stage, opening with her hit song, “Things a Man Oughta Know.” The two artists then shared a one-mic duet of the deep cut “Awake My Soul” from Mumford & Sons’ album *Sigh No More*.
Wilson expressed her enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, “I am having the time of my life, I am these guys’ biggest fan.” She conveyed her appreciation to the concertgoers, urging them to feel the love shared on stage. This was not the first time Wilson and Mumford & Sons teamed up; they performed together in New Orleans back in September during the Railroad Revival Tour, where they also delivered a lively rendition of Shania Twain’s “Man, I Feel Like a Woman.”
Continuing their tour in support of their latest album, *Rushmere*, Mumford & Sons will next perform in Austin, followed by stops in Tulsa and Omaha. This tour marks the North American leg’s conclusion.
Additionally, the band is set to release a new single titled “Rubber Band Man,” featuring Hozier. The song premiered live in Buffalo, with its official release scheduled for October 24. Hozier last performed with Mumford & Sons at the 2023 Austin City Limits, where they shared the stage for “Awake My Soul.”
