NASA Discovers New Exoplanet Trillions of Miles Away
NASA scientists have made a groundbreaking discovery, revealing the existence of a new exoplanet located trillions of miles away.
The exoplanet, named Kepler-452b, was detected using the Kepler Space Telescope and is believed to be the most Earth-like planet ever found.
According to NASA researchers, Kepler-452b orbits a star similar to our own Sun, and its size and distance from its star indicate that it may have conditions suitable for liquid water to exist on its surface.
This discovery brings scientists one step closer to finding a planet with the potential to support life outside our solar system.
Kepler-452b is located approximately 1,400 light-years away in the constellation Cygnus. It has a diameter about 60% larger than Earth’s and is estimated to be about 6 billion years old, which makes it slightly older than our own planet.
The confirmation of Kepler-452b has sparked excitement and curiosity among astronomers worldwide as they continue to search for other habitable exoplanets.
