Natalie Harp: The Critical Assistant Behind President-elect Trump’s Operation
Natalie Harp, a key figure in President-elect Donald Trump‘s team, has been hailed by lawmakers as a “valuable resource” and “critical” to the success of Trump’s operation. Harp, who has worked alongside Trump since 2022, is expected to join him at the White House for his second term, where she will play an “important role,” according to Trump Transition Team sources.
Lawmakers, including Sen. John Barrasso (R-Wy.) and Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), have praised Harp for her efficiency and loyalty. Barrasso described her as “an extra set of eyes and ears for President Trump,” noting that she is in regular communication with him and other senators via text message. Graham emphasized her role in setting up meetings and discussions, ranging from casual events like golf to sensitive foreign policy matters.
Harp’s dedication and work ethic have been highlighted by Steven Cheung, spokesman for the Trump Transition Team and incoming White House communications director. Cheung stated that Harp is “a trusted and valued member of President Trump’s team” and a significant reason for the operation’s success.
Personally, Harp has a compelling story. She battled and survived stage 2 bone cancer and credits Trump’s 2018 “Right to Try” law with saving her life. This law allows terminally ill patients to access drug treatments not yet fully approved by the FDA. Her experience was shared in an op-ed in 2019 and on “Fox & Friends,” earning her recognition and praise from Trump himself.
Harp holds a degree in business finance from Point Loma University and an MBA from Liberty University. Her professional background and personal experiences have solidified her position as a trusted and indispensable member of Trump’s team).
