New Hedge Maze Update Brings Carnival Fun to 99 Nights in the Forest
City, State – The popular survival game, 99 Nights in the Forest, has launched its highly anticipated Hedge Maze update as part of its Halloween event. Released on November 1, 2025, this update introduces a thrilling carnival and a haunted maze for players to explore.
The main feature of this update is the new carnival, which opens on Day 3 of the event. Players can earn Carnival Tickets by playing mini-games such as Ring Toss, Basketball, and Shooting. To access the Haunted Maze, players need to collect three tickets. As soon as the carnival opens, players will receive a notification, ‘The Carnival is in town,’ paired with festive music.
The carnival is designed to provide not only entertainment but also a means to unlock additional items in the Halloween Shop. Players should be aware that they might have to navigate the changing map layout to find the carnival games, although most players reported only needing to expand their campfire a couple of times.
After obtaining three Carnival Tickets, players can enter the Haunted Maze. Caution is advised, as the maze is home to wolves and the formidable Alpha Wolf. It’s recommended that players stock up on food and healing items before entering, as they can spend significant time searching for chests and rewards within the maze.
Players can avoid nighttime dangers by entering the maze during the day. A tried-and-true strategy is to follow the right-hand wall while navigating the maze; this often leads to the exit. Players can also find treasure chests containing five to six Candies throughout the maze, assisting in accumulating the event’s currency.
At the maze’s center, players will encounter the Alpha Wolf that must be defeated to access a coffin filled with unique weapons. Reports suggest that players have found items like the Scythe and Bouncing Blade during their adventures in the maze.
Additionally, the Hedge Maze update introduces a new permanent class, the Vampire class, purchasable for 600 Gems, offering benefits like night buffs and lifesteal abilities. Players are encouraged to visit the Halloween Shop before it closes to acquire exclusive seasonal items.
Happy Halloween from 99 Nights in the Forest!
