Yellowstone Spinoff Kayce Dutton Trailer

LOS ANGELES, CA — The highly anticipated trailer for the Yellowstone spinoff series Y: Marshals has been released, focusing on Kayce Dutton‘s struggles as he leads a new life. The series premieres on March 1, 2026, at 8 p.m. on CBS.

In the trailer, Kayce Dutton, portrayed by Luke Grimes, expresses his inner turmoil, stating, “I fought every day to get out from under the weight of the Yellowstone. I’ve lost my teammates, my parents, and my brothers. … I’m trying to find a new beginning.” Following the dramatic conclusion of Yellowstone’s fifth season, Kayce has sold his family ranch and now leads a team of U.S. Marshals in Montana.

Joining him is his son Tate, played by Brecken Merrill, who is now involved in the action. The series continues the beloved saga of the Dutton family, featuring original cast members including Gil Birmingham and Mo Brings Plenty, who reprise their roles.

New cast members include Logan Marshall-Green, Arielle Kebbel, Ash Santos, and Tatanka Means, set to add fresh dynamics to the story. The official logline reveals that Kayce Dutton, now part of an elite unit of U.S. Marshals, must balance the psychological burden of defending the region with his family responsibilities.

“With the Yellowstone Ranch behind him, Dutton joins an elite unit of U.S. Marshals, combining his skills as a cowboy and Navy SEAL to bring range justice to Montana,” the logline states.

Y: Marshals will be available for streaming on Paramount+ the next day for subscribers.
