Television actor Nitin Chauhan, known for his roles in popular TV shows such as MTV’s Splitsvilla 5 and Crime Patrol, has passed away at the age of 35. The news of his death was confirmed by his co-stars Sudeep Sahir and Vibhuti Thakur on their social media handles on Thursday, November 7, 2024.

Nitin Chauhan gained fame after winning the reality show Dadagiri 2 in 2009. He went on to appear in several other TV shows, including Zindagi Dot Com, Friends: Conditions Apply, Gumrah: End Of Innocence, Supercops VS Supervillains, and Savdhaan India. His last appearance was in the TV show Tera Yaar Hoon Main in 2022.

While the official cause of his death has not been confirmed by the authorities, several media reports and posts from his colleagues suggest that Nitin Chauhan may have taken his own life. Vibhuti Thakur’s social media post hinted at this, expressing her shock and sadness and wishing he had the mental strength to face his troubles.

The TV industry and fans are in shock over the sudden and untimely death of the young actor, who was known for his fitness and positive presence. Nitin Chauhan, originally from Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, had built a significant following and was admired for his roles in various television shows.

Nitin’s father has left for Mumbai to claim his body, according to reports by India Today.
