NYSC Official Warns Against Extortion of Corps Members in Katsina State

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) coordinator in Katsina State, Hajiya Aisha Mohammed, has cautioned officials against the extortion of corps members during the upcoming 2024 Batch ‘A’ stream I orientation course.
Mrs. Mohammed issued the warning during her address to the heads of assignments in Katsina on the eve of the scheduled orientation course, emphasizing the need for a commitment to professional roles without engaging in illicit practices.
She explicitly stressed the importance of maintaining a high level of integrity during their duties.
The coordinator further called on the staff members to handle their assignments with a committed and diligent approach while ensuring a high level of seriousness.
In addition, she advised all staff to prioritize their health as a key factor in executing their duties properly and efficiently.
The NYSC camp in Katsina is set to host the three-week orientation course, beginning from Thursday.
