Oklahoma City Cop Under Fire After Aggressively Throwing 70-Year-Old Man to Ground During Traffic Stop
An incident in Oklahoma City has sparked widespread outrage after a police officer was captured on video aggressively throwing a 70-year-old man to the ground during a traffic dispute. The incident involved Lich Vu, who was stopped by the officer for an alleged “improper U-turn,” despite another driver having struck his vehicle.
The video shows the officer explaining the citation to Vu and his wife. However, the situation escalated when Vu, attempting to explain himself, was repeatedly interrupted by the officer. Vu then tapped the officer on the chest and told him to “shut up,” which seemed to trigger the officer. The officer grabbed Vu by the wrists, swung him around, and threw him to the ground, causing Vu to hit his head on the pavement.
As Vu lay unresponsive on the ground, his wife tried to intervene, swatting at the police officer who was still cuffing the seemingly unconscious senior. The officer eventually radioed for an ambulance after Vu’s wife demanded medical assistance.
Vu’s daughter, Teresa, shared the aftermath of the incident on Facebook, revealing that her father was hospitalized for a brain bleed and a neck fracture. She criticized the officer’s actions, highlighting that her father is 5’3
