Pamela Anderson Continues Her Makeup-Free Streak at ‘The Last Showgirl’ Premiere
Pamela Anderson has once again made a statement with her natural beauty, attending the Los Angeles premiere of her upcoming film, ‘The Last Showgirl,’ without any makeup. The event, held on November 7, saw Anderson posing for cameras in a monochromatic outfit consisting of a white silk button-down blouse, matching wide-legged trousers, and white pumps, complemented by stud earrings.
This marks another instance of Anderson’s commitment to her makeup-free era, a trend she started last year. In an interview with Elle, Anderson described this change as both liberating and slightly rebellious, noting how aging has given her new perspectives on beauty. She mentioned that her reflection sometimes surprises her, but she has come to enjoy the journey.
Anderson’s decision to go makeup-free was influenced by the passing of her longtime makeup artist, Alexis Vogel, who died of breast cancer in 2019. Since then, Anderson has felt more comfortable without makeup, first showcasing her natural look at the Isabel Marant fashion show during Paris Fashion Week in September 2023.
‘The Last Showgirl,’ directed by Gia Coppola and written by Kate Gersten, is a poignant drama that follows the character Shelley, a seasoned Las Vegas showgirl forced to rethink her future after her show is abruptly closed. The film also stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Dave Bautista, Brenda Song, Kiernan Shipka, Billie Lourd, and Jason Schwartzman, and is set to premiere on December 13.
