Peterborough United Owner Comments on Bolton Wanderers’ Deal with Ludonautics
Peterborough United owner, Darragh MacAnthony, recently shared his thoughts on Bolton Wanderers’ partnership with Ludonautics. The collaboration between the club and the Essex-based firm was confirmed by Companies House, aiming to enhance Bolton’s recruitment capabilities in the transfer market.
MacAnthony expressed his admiration for Sharon Brittan, the owner of Bolton, highlighting her successful decision-making since taking charge of the club. He highlighted the importance of the manager’s opinion in such matters and the need to communicate the new approach to them.
The Peterborough United owner emphasized the significance of being open-minded towards innovative strategies in the football industry. While recruitment remains a key part of his own club’s approach, MacAnthony recognized the potential benefits of the share deal that Ludonautics offers, as it allows the club to avoid substantial fees and provides equity to the partner.
Darragh MacAnthony further praised Sharon Brittan, acknowledging her remarkable job in saving and revitalizing Bolton Wanderers. He expressed his desire for more successful clubs in the English Football League (EFL) and highlighted the importance of having responsible and capable owners.
MacAnthony, who became the youngest owner of a professional English club when he took over Peterborough United in 2006, emphasized his support for the EFL and its clubs’ prosperity. He emphasized that success stories, such as Bolton’s, should be encouraged for the league to thrive further.
