A pilot sustained injuries in a plane crash that occurred at Gentiles Campground in the Plymouth area on Monday morning, prompting swift emergency response.
The incident was reported to authorities at 10:58 a.m. via a 911 call, detailing the crash at the camping site situated in Terryville, Plymouth.
Responders promptly attended to the injured pilot, subsequently transporting them to a medical facility for treatment.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the aircraft involved in the crash was identified as a single-engine Cessna 172, with the pilot being the sole occupant onboard at the time of the accident.
