Pittsburgh Weather Forecast Rain Wind

PITTSBURGH, PA — Residents in Pittsburgh should prepare for a weekend of rain, wind, and fluctuating temperatures. Saturday is expected to be an Impact Day, with highs reaching 62 degrees before rain arrives in the late afternoon and evening.

The forecast indicates a strong breeze, with wind gusts up to 30 mph. According to local meteorologists, conditions may feel cooler due to the wind, especially for those attending outdoor events.

For football fans, the Pitt Panthers game is set to kick off at noon. Weather conditions should remain mostly dry until about 3 p.m., allowing fans some time for tailgating. Light rain showers are anticipated to begin after the game ends.

The steel city will see cooler temperatures on Sunday, with highs dropping to around 48 degrees, accompanied by partly cloudy skies. A slight chance of flurries or sprinkles exists for areas north of the city during the day.

A clearing trend is expected in western Pennsylvania as the rain moves out. The seasonally cool temperatures will return, with highs projected in the mid-40s for Monday and Tuesday. Meteorologists are also tracking another potential system that may bring rain back to the area later in the week.

As people head out this weekend, it’s advisable to dress in layers and be prepared for changing weather conditions.
