Narendra Modi Birthday Celebration

On September 17th, 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi marked his 74th birthday. Despite the special occasion, PM Modi maintained his focus on public service, as he often does on his birthdays. This year, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) continued its tradition of commemorating the Prime Minister’s birthday with the ‘Seva Parv’—a fortnight-long festival dedicated to public welfare and service to humanity.

As part of the celebrations, Prime Minister Modi is set to inaugurate 26 lakh PM Awas Yojana houses in Gadakana, Bhubaneswar. Upon landing at Bhubaneswar airport, PM Modi expressed his commitment to affordable housing by directly engaging with the PM Awas Yojana beneficiaries in the Gadakana slum area, demonstrating his government’s dedication to aiding underprivileged communities.

Following this, Modi will visit Janata Maidan to launch the Subhadra Yojana. Under this new scheme, over 1 crore poor women will receive Rs 10,000 annually for five years, distributed in two equal instalments. This financial assistance program was a significant pledge in the BJP’s Odisha election manifesto and is named after Goddess Subhadra, reinforcing cultural connections in policy-making.

Additionally, BJP leaders, including Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, extended their wishes to PM Modi. CM Yogi Adityanath praised Modi’s leadership and commitment to a ‘one India, superior India,’ reflecting gratitude towards Modi’s service in a heartfelt message on social media platform X.

Born on September 17, 1950, in Mehsana, Gujarat, Narendra Modi has served three consecutive terms as the state’s Chief Minister from 2001 to 2014 before taking office as the Prime Minister. His contributions continue to inspire many as India progresses as a driving force on the global stage.
