Raquel Stroll Fashion Designer Aston Martin Event

VENEZIA, Italy — Raquel Stroll, the 38-year-old fashion designer and model, made a stunning appearance at the Venice Film Festival alongside her husband, Lawrence Stroll, who is the part-owner and executive chairman of Aston Martin. The couple celebrated the unveiling of the new V12 flagship sports car, the Vanquish, on September 4, 2025.

Raquel lit up the event in a black-and-white, floor-length dress from her own fashion line, showcasing her growing status in the design world. The star-studded occasion attracted notable guests including George and Amal Clooney, Adrien Brody, Joe Alwyn, and Daniel Craig, while Aston Martin drivers Lance Stroll and Fernando Alonso were present to promote the sleek new vehicle.

Born in Brazil, Raquel Stroll (née Diniz) embarked on her fashion journey at the age of 19 after relocating to Italy. Initially working as a swimsuit model, she later pursued further education in fashion design at the renowned Istituto Marangoni in Milan, an institution that has produced notable designers like Rahul Mishra and the late Franco Moschino.

Before establishing her own brand, Raquel spent time in public relations at Noona Smith-Petersen, collaborating with luxury brands such as Valentino. Her design career began in earnest in 2012, when she started crafting pieces for colleagues and friends who were socialites in major cities like London, New York, and Milan.

“My Brazilian roots; colors and prints, curves and architecture are my inspiration,” Raquel shares on her brand’s website. Her debut ready-to-wear collection launched in 2016, marking the birth of her label, Raquel Diniz.

In 2022, Raquel took a significant step in her career by opening her first flagship store on Milan’s Via Santo Spirito, a milestone cheered by supporters and fashion enthusiasts alike. She continues to make a name for herself in the competitive fashion industry while balancing her commitments to her family in the high-octane world of Formula One.
