Real Madrid has announced a temporary suspension of concerts at its newly renovated Santiago Bernabeu Stadium following complaints from nearby residents about excessive noise. The decision was disclosed by the Spanish football club on Friday night.

The club stated that three concerts by Spanish pop artists, initially scheduled for November, will now take place in December. Furthermore, the planned South Korean music show, Music Bank, which was supposed to occur on October 12, has been canceled.

The move comes in response to multiple reports published in local media, emphasizing concerns from residents who live in proximity to the stadium about the noise levels affecting their homes during concert events. In a statement, the club explained that “this decision forms part of a group of measures taken by the club to ensure that the municipal regulations are strictly complied with during concerts.”

Real Madrid‘s action seeks to address these concerns while ensuring adherence to local noise regulations. The club is working to balance its entertainment offerings with the tranquility of the surrounding neighborhood.

Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, a renowned venue not only for sports events but also cultural gatherings, recently underwent significant renovations, enhancing its capabilities to host various events, including concerts. However, this development has raised the challenge of managing noise levels in compliance with local laws.
