Results of Telangana State District Selection Committee 2024 Announced
The Department of School Education in Telangana has officially announced the results of the Telangana State District Selection Committee (TS DSC) 2024 on September 30, 2024. Candidates who participated in the recruitment examination can now access their scorecards by entering their roll number and date of birth on the login page provided on the official website, tgdsc.aptonline.in.
The results were disclosed by the Telangana Chief Minister, A. Revanth Reddy, during a public announcement at the State Secretariat. Accompanied by cabinet colleagues and senior officials from the education department, the Chief Minister unveiled the General Rank List.
Approximately 2.45 lakh candidates undertook the TS DSC 2024 examination, conducted across various centers from July 18 to August 5. Among these, about 88,000 individuals had specifically applied for secondary grade teacher positions.
This year’s recruitment drive is targeting 11,062 teaching posts across several categories, including school assistants, language pandits, secondary grade teachers, physical education teachers, and special education teachers. These positions aim to fill vacancies in both primary and upper primary or secondary education across government and local body schools within the state.
The recruitment process involves a merit-based selection, determined by the candidates’ performance in the written examination. Successful candidates will then proceed through several steps, which include document verification, counseling, seat allotment, joining instructions, training, and induction.
Candidates are required to present a set of documents during the verification phase, which includes educational certificates, medical fitness certificates, identity proof, and, if applicable, caste or category certificates.
The TS DSC, known as the Telangana State Departmental Selection Committee, plays a crucial role in the recruitment of educators across various districts in Telangana, significantly impacting the educational landscape in the region.
