Singham Again Trailer Launch

The much-anticipated trailer for Rohit Shetty‘s “Singham Again” is set to launch on Monday, October 7, 2024, at 1:00 PM. Starring Ajay Devgn, the film continues Shetty’s successful cop universe, following “Singham” and “Singham Returns.” The trailer is reported to be 4 minutes and 45 seconds long, making it the longest in Indian film history.

Rohit Shetty first introduced audiences to the character of DCP Bajirao Singham, played by Ajay Devgn, in 2011. The film was notable for combining action with a strong narrative centered around an honest and fierce police officer. “Singham Returns” followed in 2014, further cementing the franchise’s popularity.

Besides Ajay Devgn, the upcoming film features Kareena Kapoor in a leading role, with reports indicating scenes were shot in scenic Kashmir. The film’s trailer launch event will be held at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center (NMACC) in Mumbai, with prominent cast members in attendance.

Rohit Shetty’s cop universe has expanded over the years, incorporating films like “Simba” (2018) and “Sooryavanshi” (2021), the latter featuring Akshay Kumar, with cameo appearances from Devgn and Ranveer Singh.

In a surprise move, the makers announced that “Singham Again,” initially slated for an August 15, 2024 release, will instead open on November 1, coinciding with the Diwali festival. This pits it against Kartik Aaryan‘s “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3,” raising speculation about a box office clash.

Sources report that “Singham Again” has already secured over ₹200 crores through satellite, digital, and music rights, marking a significant non-theatrical deal for Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn.
