Social Media Influencer Musa Khawula Faces Legal Action for Defamatory Allegations

Musa Khawula, a controversial social media influencer, is once again facing potential legal challenges. The latest controversy involves allegations made by Khawula against businessman Ze Nxumalo, accusing him of infidelity. These allegations were shared on Khawula’s social media platform, X.

According to City Press, Ze Nxumalo, through his attorneys, has issued a letter of demand to Khawula, insisting on the retraction of the statements. The letter claims, “You were purposefully misguiding the members of the public by stating that Mr Nxumalo has had multiple extra-marital affairs, thus cheating on his wife, Dr Green Nxumalo, with another woman, including with a Ms Mokoena,” as noted in the legal correspondence.

The publication reports that a now-deleted post, dated October 12, allegedly featured a photo of Ze’s wife, Tamaryn Green, with a caption accusing Ze of infidelity while showcasing Dr. Tamaryn Green with a child. This incident adds to Khawula’s ongoing legal troubles, as he has frequently faced lawsuits and defamation claims throughout his career.

Additionally, Khawula has faced a civil lawsuit involving Nozuko Mbalula, the wife of ANC Secretary-General Fikile Mbalula. In this instance, Khawula was directed to retract defamatory statements alleging that Nozuko and her associates had engaged in bribery to secure tenders, as reported by IOL.

In response to Khawula’s most recent allegations, users on the social media platform X have demanded proof of his claims. Many pointed out that Ze Nxumalo’s Instagram page prominently features posts celebrating his wife, expressing skepticism about the veracity of Khawula’s accusations.

“Where is the proof that Ze Nxumalo is cheating? That man only posts his wife on IG,” a user with the handle Cinderella queried.

Another user, Nzombane, commented, “Ze Nxumalo thinks the grass is greener on the other side,” reflecting a humorous skepticism towards the allegation.
