Sony Announces Exciting October PlayStation Plus Lineup
Tokyo, Japan – Sony has officially unveiled the lineup of games for October through its PlayStation Plus subscription service, confirming several titles that will thrill horror fans this spooky season.
Scheduled for release on October 21, the lineup includes the highly anticipated remake of the horror classic Until Dawn, alongside other fan favorites like Silent Hill 2. This announcement adds to earlier leaks from the reliable gaming news source Dealabs, which hinted at exciting additions to the PlayStation Plus catalog.
The 2024 remake of Until Dawn enhances the original PS4 horror experience with updated visuals and new scenes, featuring notable performances by Hayden Panettiere and Rami Malek as a group of teens facing terrifying events in the woods.
Joining these titles, As Dusk Falls, a narrative adventure game, will also become available for subscribers. This game, previously an Xbox exclusive, tells a gripping story about two families caught in a hostage situation.
Meanwhile, V Rising, a vampire survival title, adds more thrill to the lineup. Silent Hill 2‘s remake arrives just after its first anniversary, further feeding the frenzy of horror-themed content as Halloween approaches.
Extra subscribers can also look forward to the classic fighting game Tekken 3, marking its debut on the PS5 with upgraded graphics. Additional titles set for the month include Yakuza: Like A Dragon, Wizard With A Gun, and Poppy Playtime: Chapter One.
The official release includes all the announced titles, and while no additional games are expected, October looks promising for those looking to engage with compelling gameplay and chilling narratives.
This month’s additions not only provide excellent horror-themed gameplay but also showcase the variety available through the PlayStation Plus service, appealing to a broad range of subscribers.
