The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the application status for the Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) and Havaldar examination 2024. Candidates who have registered for these examinations can verify their application status through the official SSC website, ssc.gov.in. Currently, the application status for the Eastern region has been released, with other regions following suit soon.

The MTS and Havaldar examination, which will be conducted online, is scheduled to occur from September 30 to November 14, 2024. Following the confirmation of application status, candidates can expect the release of their admit cards shortly. The admit cards will detail the examination date, time, and venue. It is essential for candidates to carry their admit card on the examination day, as entry without it will not be permitted.

The recruitment process aims to fill 9,583 vacancies, divided into 6,144 positions for Multi-Tasking Staff and 3,439 for Havaldar positions. The examination will consist of a Computer Based Examination (CBE) and, for Havaldar positions, a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) as well as a Physical Standard Test (PST).

The examination will be held in two sessions on a single day. Each session will last 45 minutes and contain multiple-choice questions. The questions will cover general awareness and will be provided in English, Hindi, and 13 regional languages. Notably, there will be no negative marking in the first session, but a penalty of one mark for each incorrect answer will be applied in the second session.

To check the status of their application, candidates need to follow the steps provided on the regional SSC websites using their registration number and date of birth. Stay updated with the official SSC portal for any further announcements regarding the admit card issuance and examination timelines.
