Sweden Finland Survival Guides Ww3 Ukraine Long Range Missiles

As tensions between Russia and the West escalate, Sweden and Finland have taken unprecedented steps to prepare their citizens for the possibility of war. Both countries, known for their long-standing neutrality, joined NATO after the Ukraine war began and are now distributing survival guides and launching preparedness initiatives.

The decision by the Biden administration to allow Ukraine to use US-supplied long-range missiles to strike deep within Russia has sparked significant concern. Russian politicians have warned that this move could lead to World War III, with lawmaker Vladimir Dzhabarov describing it as a “very big step towards the start of World War III”.

In response to the heightened security risks, Sweden is distributing 5.2 million copies of a 32-page booklet titled ‘If Crisis or War Comes’ to its households. The booklet provides instructions on handling various emergencies, including military conflicts, natural disasters, cyberattacks, and terrorism. It also includes guidance on what to do in the event of an attack with nuclear, biological, or chemical weapons.

Finland has launched a new website focused on preparedness, while Norway has also distributed similar pamphlets advising citizens on how to survive independently for a week in case of war or other emergencies. These measures reflect the growing concern over the potential for a broader conflict involving Russia.

The Biden administration’s decision to permit the use of long-range ATACMS missiles by Ukraine follows extensive lobbying by Ukrainian officials, who argue that these weapons are necessary to counter Russian attacks on Ukrainian cities. This move marks a significant shift in U.S. policy and has been met with strong opposition from Russia, which sees it as a major escalation of the conflict.

Donald Trump Jr. and other figures from the Trump camp have criticized the Biden administration’s decision, accusing it of escalating the conflict to sabotage Donald Trump’s upcoming presidency. The Kremlin has also accused the U.S. of risking the start of World War III with this decision.
